Booking Your Session

Hi I am so excited to get to know you and your family! I love capturing all of the cuteness that are your sweet babies & teens!

Unforgettable Impressions Photography wants every session to be fun and relaxed. We try to capture who your child really is.  Our sessions are usually about 1 hour for children, and 1-2 hours for newborn.

Locations:

I enjoy shooting on location such as your house, backyard, old barns, open fields, or anywhere that is special to you. We have a fun and funky studio located in Montrose, PA where we would love to photograph you and your kiddos. Our studio is out of the ordinary where kids love to play, eat candy, giggle, and have a fun time! If you don’t have a location of your own, we are always happy to have you in our studio or our beautiful outdoor location to capture those special moments.

What to Wear:

Clothing is so important in a photograph, it can add such fun texture. I recommend wearing layers, like cardigans and leggings. I love clothes with ruffles, ribbon, and buttons! Patterns like polka dots and stripes are fun too but please try to stay away from clothing with a character or words on it as in a picture part of the it may be cut off making it look odd. Please feel free to bring a couple different outfits, as long as your child is willing, we can do as many changes as you would like. Especially in the studio, we like bare feet so don’t worry too much about shoes.

Choosing clothing for family sessions can be very stressful. Try picking a few colors and sticking with it throughout the whole family. Sometimes matching too much can look cheesy, so try to keep each person a little unique but staying within the color scheme.

After the Session:

About 2 weeks after the session, you can either have an order session with Lindsey or in special circumstances the proofs can be placed on an online gallery, the details will need to be worked out with Lindsey. If coming in for an order session, orders must be placed at time of the order session. If the proofs are on an online gallery, they will be up for exactly 1 week, and your order must be emailed to Lindsey in that 1 week. There is a reactivation fee of $50.00 for three days for opening the gallery after the 1 week allowance. Once Lindsey receives your order and it is paid in full , she will send for your proofs to be printed. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. If an order is not placed within 4 weeks, the proofs will be purged.
